Tried their signature boneless CRACK chicken on pork fried rice with the amazing green sauce and I would come back and order the exact same thing again. Chicken was juicy and the creamy green sauce along with a bite of their PFR is perfection. Service is great and the place is clean.

Came here after seeing the place all over social media and it was great. Def feels like a family owned place, no frills and a menu that feels like it hasn't changed in years. I was able to try the egg rolls, the bone-in crackling chicken, the boneless crackling chicken, morro rice, and yellow rice. You could probably skip the egg rolls but I was starving after walking up from Herald Sq and needed more energy from the walk back. The bone-in chicken was amazing but somehow the boneless was even better. Both options were juicy and seasoned down to the bone like they opted for a wet brine. Can't really go wrong with either option. Ask for extra green sauce for the table or to take home, and if you're picnicking in Central Park, they also deliver extremely quick.

This was my first time trying a Chino-Latino fusion restaurant and I enjoyed it! You can tell that this place has history, from the old school vibe with small booths divided by plastic screens, to the photos of various celebrities with the chef/owner on the walls. The menu is expansive, with a section for more classic Chinese dishes, and a section for fusion dishes. I came here with a friend and we split the social-media hyped Fried Chicken Cracking with French fries, Chicken Lo Mein, and Eggplant in Garlic Sauce. The Chicken Crackling was delicious and lived up to the hype. Super crispy and extremely tasty with the green sauce (creamy and tangy- what is in this?!). The Eggplant in Garlic sauce was well seasoned and super saucy, if a bit salty. It went really well over the side of rice it comes with. The Chicken Lo Mein was fine, nothing remarkable. Service was a bit slow, but they were also busy. Overall was really happy to try out this place, and would definitely recommend trying the Chicken Crackling with green sauce- it did not disappoint!

I've been to La Dinastia twice now and it's quickly become my local favorite. FYI, Chino Latino cuisine comes from Chinese immigrants who settled in Latin America (in this case, Cuba), blending the flavors of the two cultures. The UWS used to house a whole community of these restaurants, but as restruanteurs retired and the UWS got fancy, just a few remain these days. Luckily, La Dinastia's still here, and it's remained shockingly unfussy despite how luxe the neighborhood has gotten. Prices are some of the most reasonable in the area, especially for the gigantic portions of food you get. My favorite dishes have been the braised eggplant and their famous crackling chicken. I tend to get it with bone (I don't know, culturally maybe, I just feel like bone-in chicken tastes better), but they have a boneless option too. Mains come with side dishes like fried rice and/or rice and beans. While just one main feels like enough for two people, I've ordered more and packed to go - the flavors are such that they taste great a day out of the fridge too. The owner was around both times and very friendly, and it looks like they've managed to keep a rotation of locals getting fed alongside the people who discovered it through TikTok. I really hope it sticks around!
